I’ve recently been exploring a new direction in my personal photography. Where once I concentrated on seascapes and landscapes, I’m now drawn to the urban environment — sometimes working in high-contrast black and white to bring out bold lines, strong geometry, negative space, abstract forms and silhouettes. I’ve also become increasingly interested in searching for the subtle details our eyes tend to overlook, with my colour work incorporating reflections and experimenting with creative blur to add atmosphere and ambiguity.
To reflect this shift in style and focus, I’ve divided the galleries here into two distinct sections.
