Vincent MacNamara was the first photographer in Ireland to introduce digital technology to schools photography. Using the latest high resolution digital cameras Vincent will take several shots of each child to ensure the best possible results. One of the great advantages of shooting digitally is that small children often visibly relax after the first or second shot resulting in much better photos.
The other principal advantage of digital technology is the ability to edit the photos after they have been taken. Vincent includes minor retouching of photos as a standard service for schools.
Instead of taking a traditional group shot, with the children lined up in rows, Vincent offers a montage of all of the individual children's portraits with their names added. This guarantees that each child is shown at their best in the class photos.
